Wigdor LLP has filed an amended complaint against Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc., Fox News Network LLC, Judith Slater, Controller and Senior Vice President of Accounting at Fox, and Dianne Brandi, Fox General Counsel, on behalf of Tichaona Brown, Tabrese Wright and Monica Douglas.
As alleged in the amended complaint, Ms. Brown, Ms. Wright and Ms. Douglas suffered years of continuous racial vitriol from Judy Slater and describe how she mocked Ms. Douglas, a breast cancer survivor, by referring to her as “cancer girl” and “one-boobed girl.”
As detailed in the complaint, Ms. Douglas complained to Ms. Brandi about Judy Slater’s bias on multiple occasions, including from as far back as 2014. Ms. Douglas was warned by Dianne Brandi that Judy Slater would not be terminated because, “she knows too much.”
The Plaintiffs are represented by Wigdor LLP Partners Douglas H. Wigdor and Jeanne M. Christensen, and Senior Associate Michael J. Willemin. Douglas Wigdor and Jeanne Christensen said of the amended complaint: “The allegations in the amended complaint make clear that Fox, at the highest levels, was on notice of Ms. Slater’s racist conduct for years and unfortunately did nothing about it.”
