Alex Hartzband is an Associate at Wigdor LLP.
Experience and Types of Cases
While in law school, Mr. Hartzband spent his summers interning at a small civil rights firm in Harlem and a general practice litigation firm in the Hudson Valley. Further, Mr. Hartzband represented indigent debtors against their creditors in New York state court as a member of Fordham Law’s Consumer Litigation Clinic and interned at a union-side labor law firm in Manhattan. Mr. Hartzband also served as a competitor and editor on the Fordham Moot Court Board and was a member of the Urban Law Journal.
While at GWU, Mr. Hartzband worked to raise money for the YouthAIDS foundation and managed a mayoral campaign in northern New Jersey.
Mr. Hartzband received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. in History from the George Washington University. Mr. Hartzband received the Keith C. Miller Memorial Award for his contribution to Fordham’s Moot Court program as well as the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award summa cum laude for devoting over 1,000 hours to pro bono and or community service work during law school.
