Wigdor Files Harassment and Discrimination Complaint Filed Against Twin Peaks, Inc.

ON BACKGROUND

As an NYC-based special inspections and construction materials testing firm, Twin Peaks has been providing quality assurance services to the agencies and companies that keep New York City running for more than three decades. With clients that include NYCHA, Metro-North Railroad, NJ Transit, New York City Department of Sanitation, conEdison, NYC Parks, and more, Twin Peaks’ prominent contracts – many of which have been partially funded by taxpayer investment – have earned them the reputation of leader in the special inspections industry. However, while the Founder and CEO, Jerry Agajian, claims to “value professionalism and integrity,” Twin Peaks has fostered a company culture distinguished by sexual harassment, misogyny, and racism.

As alleged in the below complaint, Mr. Agajian regularly commented on the appearance of female employees, including clients Ms. Wang and Ms. Delara. He often spoke to them in a discriminatory and disparaging manner, frequently referring to Ms. Wang as “my Chinese bitch,” “kung fu,” and “chopsticks,” calling Ms. Delara a “Dominican bitch,” and openly announcing to the office that “all women are bitches.” The comments veered into blatant harassment, when Mr. Agajian asked Ms. Delara if she has ever tried “Armenian sausage” (referencing his penis), sent predatory and sexual social media videos to Ms. Wang, and while complaining about the COVID-19 pandemic’s interference with his sex life, told Ms. Wang that he “feels bad” for the women he is going to “bang” once the pandemic is over because the sex “will be so rough.”

On March 31, 2026, Mr. Agajian’s alleged abuse reached a breaking point after he tried to coerce Ms. Wang and Ms. Delara to join him at a post-work dinner that was unrelated to business. Having previously endured a similar lunch with Mr. Agajian, where he was intoxicated and harassed them with details of his sexual encounters, they demured. When they declined to join him, Mr. Agajian responded: “I don’t give a fuck, do what I say.” When they still did not join, he told them they “just made the biggest mistake of your life” and had the company’s HR Manager inform them not to come into the office the following day and that they were terminated for refusing to meet him at the restaurant.

ON RECORD

Statement from Michael Willemin (Partner, Wigdor LLP): “Sexual harassment is exceptionally disquieting when it occurs at a company that benefits from projects partly funded by taxpayer investment. Twin Peaks has been trusted to serve the public interest – and that public should be confident that those companies contributing to the community are operating with professionalism and respect.”
