JOHN S. CRAIN
John S. Crain is an Associate at Wigdor LLP.
Prior to joining Wigdor LLP, Mr. Crain clerked for the Hon. Chief Judge Roslynn Mauskopf of the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Crain also previously worked as an associate at a prominent law firm in New York, where he worked on an array of transactional matters, including high-level executive compensation negotiations and related disclosures to the Securities and Exchange Commission. During law school, Mr. Crain served as an intern for the Hon. Nicholas Garaufis of the Eastern District of New York. He was also an intern at the New York City Law Department, where he assisted with the litigation of various federal claims on behalf of the city.
Mr. Crain earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated second in his class after completing an accelerated, two-year program. He earned numerous honors at graduation, including awards for academic excellence in Civil Rights, Torts, Legal Ethics and Civil Procedure, and was also awarded the Faculty Prize in recognition of his exceptional academic record and potential for future professional achievement. During law school, Mr. Crain served on the writing team for the Prince Moot Court Evidence Competition and was a staff member of the Brooklyn Law Review.
Mr. Crain is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Northern District of Illinois.
