Wigdor LLP has been a consistent leader in fighting for victims who have been unlawfully discriminated, harassed, sexually assaulted, and/or retaliated. The Firm has handled some of the most closely watched cases in these important areas well before #MeToo including its representation in 2011 of the victim in a groundbreaking sexual assault case against prominent French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn. Since then, the Firm has made headlines in countless cases including representing 10 of the victims of alleged sexual abuse by Harvey Weinstein, over 20 victims of sexual harassment and discrimination at Fox News, and more recently the race discrimination class action against the NFL on behalf of Brian Flores, Steve Wilks, and Ray Horton.
In 2023 and 2024, Wigdor LLP has made headlines for representing singer Cassie Ventura in her sex trafficking and sexual assault lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Ms. Ventura filed her lawsuit to hold Combs accountable for his conduct, and to also shed light on those who facilitated and enabled Combs’s decade of sexual and physical abuse. Within 24 hours of filing the lawsuit, Ms. Ventura resolved her claims, but not before she was able to go public with her story, giving others the strength to tell their truth.
Wigdor also represents Kellye Croft in her lawsuit against billionaire James Dolan, Harvey Weinstein, and entities owned by music manager Irving Azoff. Croft, a Licensed Massage Therapist, who is seeking to hold Dolan accountable for sexually assaulting her and his role her sexual assault at the hands of Weinstein, a known sexual predator and close associate of Dolan. Another notable case is Wigdor’s representation of actress Julia Ormond in her lawsuit against Weinstein, Weinstein’s employers Disney and Miramax, and Ms. Ormond’s former talent agents, Creative Artists Agency.
The Firm frequently takes cases against public figures and refuses to back down in the face of significant resources and power.
