Wigdor LLP won an acquittal at trial of a Hollywood Video Store Manager who was falsely accused of multiple rapes, sexual assaults and other sex offenses by six former store employees who testified at trial.
The Store Manager was charged in a 25-count indictment and faced 135 years in prison. Wigdor LLP also later obtained a $500,000 settlement from the City of New York on behalf of the client in connection with his malicious prosecution lawsuit.
