Wigdor LLP Files Case On Behalf Of Medical Clinic Employee Of 43 Years, Fired After Disclosing Cancer Diagnosis

Wigdor LLP represents Robyn Perlman, a former administrator at Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of New York, P.C. (“ENT”), which has 22 medical offices throughout Long Island.  Ms. Perlman, hired as a part time file clerk at only 19, was promoted numerous times until eventually becoming the Director of Operations.  As alleged in the Complaint, after a tenure of more than 40 years, ENT retaliated against Ms. Perlman after she made complaints of discrimination and other mistreatment towards the Company’s employees – including a complaint that the practice was lying to doctors about the revenues generated by their surgeries and thereby stealing wages from the doctors – and then terminated her directly after she complained about discrimination directed at her following her disclosure of a cancer diagnosis.

Ms. Perlman is represented by David E. Gottlieb, a Partner at Wigdor LLP and Hilary J. Orzick, an Associate.
