Wigdor LLP is currently co-counsel in a wrongful death case against Con Edison. Together with the Cochran Firm, the firm represents the family of Ms. Lauren Abraham, a 23-year-old woman who was electrocuted by a downed power line in Queens during Hurricane Sandy.  The action alleges that Con Edison was negligent in failing to implement technology to de-energize a downed power line and respond to the downed power line that caused Ms. Abraham’s death.
