On July 1, 2025, Wigdor prevailed in a partial motion for summary judgment against Pollen, an international events startup that collapsed dramatically in 2022. The Court found that Pollen failed to pay wages or benefits to its employees in the summer of 2022 and failed to provide notice before shuttering the business, in violation of state and federal law. This excellent decision paves the way for Wigdor’s class action to hold Pollen to account and get its former employees a fair wage for their work.
